A bit about me…

At the age of 15, I left my home country of South Africa to pursue my dream of becoming a ballet dancer. I trained in the UK, a decision that opened doors to an incredible career spanning 15 years. I performed with esteemed companies such as Vienna Festival Ballet, Weiner Ballett Theater, London City Ballet, Royal Opera, English National Opera, and London Ballet Theatre. I graced the stage in timeless productions like Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Romeo and Juliet (where I played Juliet!), and even had the privilege of appearing in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera — a defining moment in my career.

However, life has a way of shifting our path. In 1996, a serious back injury forced me to reconsider my future. While it marked the end of my ballet career, it led me to a new passion: movement, rehabilitation and holistic well-being. I transitioned into teaching ballet and Pilates, working at the Arts Educational School in London and the Central School of Ballet. Today, I continue to share my expertise as a guest teacher at the London Junior Ballet.

In 1997, I trained in Pilates through a rigorous two-year programme with the esteemed Pilates Foundation UK, becoming a founding member. My desire to understand the body more deeply led me to obtain a degree in Anatomy and Physiology, as well as professional qualifications in a range of complementary therapies. I am fully certified in:

  • CranioSacral Therapy

  • Remedial Sports Massage

  • A.R.T Reflexology

  • Myofascial Trigger Point Release

  • Gyrotonic

  • Aerobics

  • Buff Bones® (osteoporosis exercise method)

  • Yamuna Body Rolling (for fascia, muscle, and bone stimulation, including organ health)

  • Reiki energy medicine

As a committed practitioner, I am proud to be listed in the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners (CAM) and a member of the Pilates Method Alliance. My expertise allows me to work with a diverse range of clients, from elite athletes and dancers to individuals recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions.

Today, I run a thriving practice in London, consult at wellness resorts worldwide, and host global wellness retreats. My approach integrates movement, rehabilitation and energy work, creating a truly holistic path to wellbeing for every client I work with.
